JBC is challenged by Bert Ogden to remodel their dealership without disrupting their sales.
The primary challenge in this dealership remodel was keeping the showroom floor open and the sales team operational, while making sure the project stayed on track. Traffic control was a big obstacle because we had to keep the dealership staff and the public safe, and the job site clean and clear of debris. Coordination between JBC and the client was crucial in order to keep the dealership’s daily operations running smoothly while keeping construction ahead of schedule and on budget.
During demolition and construction, JBC uncovered several problems that included uneven floors, existing structural issues, and electrical and plumbing that weren’t up to code. Other minor issues included things like no insulation in the ceilings and several leaks in the roof deck.
Not only did JBC overcome these challenges, but with efficient project management and alternative material sourcing we stayed on budget and on time for Bert Ogden. All without interrupting their busy sales force.
With the improved facility and increased efficiencies provided by JBC, the Nissan dealership in McAllen has become the highest performing store for the Bert Ogden dealer group.
