Meet Our Team

Kenneth Johnson

JBC’s Executive Manager Kenneth Johnson has always had a hands-on approach to building and construction. From his time as a drilling consultant in the oil fields and owning and operating a commercial painting company, Kenneth has always been involved in every facet of the process. From driving heavy equipment to doing site takeoffs, he enjoys the challenges faced daily in the construction and development industry.

Kenneth has run operations for JBC for the past twenty years. His “second to none” attitude in the business has continued to drive the company forward to produce more and more construction projects every year. Kenneth’s attention to detail and his high value of customer service has built JBC a loyal customer base.

Along with running operations for JBC, he has also developed subdivisions in Colorado and Texas. In his downtime, Kenneth enjoys collecting arrow heads and attending Kansas University basketball games. Go Jayhawks!

Amy Allen Johnson

Amy Allen Johnson has managed JBC’s construction office since 1993. Before construction, Amy owned and operated a flower shop for 10 years where she honed her business skills. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Horticulture from Texas A&M University.

Born and raised in McAllen, Texas, Amy is still active in the community, currently serving on the McAllen Chamber of Commerce Board.

When she isn’t managing the construction office, Amy is busy caring for her three dogs and the native habitat on her property. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking, gardening and antiquing.

Gilbert Ozuna

JBC’s General Manager Gilbert Ozuna hails from the Rio Grande Valley and has been in construction and development for his entire professional career. Not only does Gilbert manage the day to day operations for JBC, he oversees the design and engineering teams on new design-build commercial projects.

Gilbert’s extensive experience in commercial construction and ability to navigate through the local and state bureaucratic permitting processes has helped JBC deliver projects on schedule and generate repeat business. When he’s not overseeing projects at JBC, Gilbert spends time with his family and works on his golf game.
